The Double Time and Triple Time Techniques make super simple stamping cards. These were the cards I demonstrated last night during my FaceBook and YouTube live class. I used the Beautiful Friendship stamp set which is from the Annual Catalog so available to order.
The video is down below in this post; if you missed the live class last night. You will also find the PDF file in the April Subscribers Only Album.
The Beautiful Friendship stamp set is a Distinktive stamp set. What is a Distinktive stamp set?
Get photo-realistic style images with Distinktive stamps, available only from Stampin’ Up! Distinktive stamps have a special texture that gives added depth and dimension in a single step. They’re available in red rubber and photopolymer; look for the Distinktive icon in the catalogs to locate them.
Let’s start with the Double Time Technique. On this card I used the Lovely Lipstick ink and Pear Pizzazz ink and matted my stamped pieces onto Lovely Lipstick card stock. You will also notice that I just stamped just the bottom portion of the card stock pieces instead of the whole card like I will show you in the Triple Time stamped card.
Also, as a side note the Lovely Lipstick is an In Color from the 2018-2020 collection. The Lovely Lipstick ink, card stock and accessories will be retiring SOON! If you LOVE this color like I do you will want to order it ASAP because it is while supplies last!
Now for the Triple Time Technique. I used the Highland Heather and Pear Pizzazz on this card just like yesterday’s double time technique card. As I said in the video you can make your mats between the layers bigger if you want and you can also do your layers with framelits if you have different size framelit dies.
I also tried the triple time stamping with the Balmy Blue ink and card stock. I think I like it done in the Highland Heather better; but I guess it is just a color preference. I also think that I prefer the double time over the triple time technique. In any case the Beautiful Friendship is the perfect stamp set for this technique.

How about a BONUS PDF? This one was done by Holly Pederson; it uses the same PDF file just done in the New Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper.
What a great gift to give to someone you know who is working to take care of other’s during this time. This would also make a great Mother’s Day Gift or maybe a Thank You gift to Teachers who are still trying to teach online and can’t be with their students in person. Let all the helpers know you are thinking of them and help to put a smile on their faces.
Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and God Bless!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
