What fun technique do you see on this card? The technique I used on this card is an oldie but a goodie! I’m at the cottage on a mini vacation and have limited supplies so I had to look around my kitchen for something to use to create a fun technique.
Hmmm I just gave you 2 clues as to what technique I did.
- It’s an old technique
- Found my supplies in the kitchen
Okay 1 more clue:
- I created a background with my kitchen find
Have you figured it out?
I think I watched a bit too much Blue’s Clue’s this weekend with Giselle. hahaha. If you aren’t familiar with Blue’s Clue’s look it up on YouTube.
You may be asking hmmm that stamp set was from the Holiday Mini catalog last year; why are you showcasing it again? Well, you are in luck because Stampin’ Up! brought it back in the upcoming New Mini being released on August 4th! This is the Christmas Gleaming Variety Bundle! It is a stamp set with coordinating punches and yes, you can still get it in a bundle in the upcoming mini.
The colors I used are the New Just Jade and the Cinnamon Cider In Colors. The printed Designer Series Paper on the top portion of the card is from the Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper pack.
Oh yeah I forgot to mention the technique I used. Guess you’ll have to join me LIVE Tonight at 7:30PM EST on my FaceBook page or YouTube Channel “The Stamp Camp” to find out! I’m at the cottage so I’m not so sure I will be able to be live on YouTube and FaceBook at the same time. I might just be on FaceBook and then I’ll upload it to YouTube after.

Two of my grandsons lived with us when they were little. Cory can sleep anywhere but Cody likes to have noise to sleep through. He wanted to watch Blues Clues at bedtime. My bedroom was next to his and when the video finished he would yell – “it’s over, Grandma”. That ended when he got big enough to get out of his crib by himself and he would go into my Mom’s room and watch videos. She woke up one night and asked him what he was doing and he told her to go back to sleep! I can hardly wait for him to have kids.
I’m guessing you used Saran Wrap. 🙂
Good try; but nope! Join me tonight. 🙂
That is hilarious! My middle son was a huge Blues Clues fan back when Steve was the name of the character with Blue. Then they had a Joe and now it is Josh. All my kids had a favorite show that they would be glued to. Will’s was Donald Duck Presents and Fern Gully, Nikki’s was the Little Mermaid, Neil’s was Blues Clues and George of the Jungle and Dean’s was Sponge Bob.
