Today’s card is the Prized Peony Bundle in the Bumblebee In Color. I had some left over pieces from my In Color Club cards so decided to use them up on another card. This Z-Fold card was the perfect monochromatic card to use up those extra pieces on.
Am I the only one who has a stash of left over pieces? You know what I mean? Sometimes I stamp and die cut pieces or emboss card stock, or die cut shapes or sentiments and then decide not to use them on my card. I place these left overs in a container and sometimes they come in very handy; especially if I’m looking to create a quick card.
I was so busy creating the Customer Appreciation Projects for August; I totally forgot to make a card for today’s blog post. My little stash of left over pieces came in very handy last night. I remembered around 9PM that I had to create a card for today’s post and had a little pile of the Prized Peony flowers already stamped and die cut. Hmmm, What can I do with the die cut pieces? How about a Z-Fold card in Monochromatic? Yup, I had the supplies I needed at the cottage and went with it.
On the inside I stamped the smaller flower in the Bumblebee In Color and the sentiment. The inside sentiment is from the Prized Peony bundle. On the front I added a few Pearls here and there; got to have my bling!
The Hello sentiment is from the Blossoms in Bloom stamp set. This card can be used to send to a friend just because or maybe as a thank you.
Of all the New In Colors which color is your favorite? I really like the Misty Moonlight and the Just Jade; but I do think that all these New In Colors coordinate very well together.

Hi Glenda!
Frankly, I don’t like Magenta Madness – it’s just a too loud pink for me. The other 4 InColors are beautiful, I think. My favorite is the Misty Moonlight. We’re camping in the least light polluted triangle in France and the night sky is an amazing sight. The Milky Way makes the night sky look blue-ish! On the campsite was a large patch of wild flowers, a true riot of colors, with all 5 new InColors – and then the owner mowed the entire patch down 🙁
I have three kinda silly questions for you: what exactly are Customer Appreciation Projects? Is there a minimum order amount to get this PDF? How do you redeem your bonus points come August? I’m still rather new to Stampin Up: 1st purchase in Feb, demo since mid March and made Bronze Elite last week, but there’s still so very much for me to learn!
Thanks for your comments Ineke, To receive the Customer Appreciation PDF files there is a min. order requirement and use of the current hostess code. To redeem your bonus points you will need to place an order between August 4 – 31, 2020 and use the code that Stampin’ Up! emailed to you. Congrats on your achievements. If you have further demonstrator questions; you should contact your upline. I’m sure he/she will answer all your questions and concerns. Thanks again for checking out my blog.
