Last Saturday I had a 21 techniques class and one of the techniques was Chalks with Blender pen. I haven’t done this technique in so long and forgot just how smooth the chalks paint in with the blender pen. I really like this technique and will try to bring it back around in more of my classes. Here was the card sample using this technique:
When you do this technique it is best to use Watercolor card stock or Naturals Ivory, Naturals White or Confetti White card stock they will withstand the liquid from the blender pens the best. You also want to use the Stazon ink so you don’t have to worry about bleeding. All you do is dip the point of your blender pen into your chalks and then color in your stamped image, it’s just that easy. You will be surprised how smooth the chalk paints in. Give it a try.
Recipe:
CS: Not Quite Navy, Basic Black, Naturals White, Daffodil Delight
Ink: Black Stazon
SS: Teeny Tiny Wishes, Uncharted Territory
Accessories: Word Window Punch, Square Lattice Impressions folder, Big shot, Chalks (Pastels), Modern Label punch, Silver Brads

What a soft pretty card, Glenda! I’d forgotten about that technique too. I don’t use my chalks nearly enough. TFS!
