Saturday Sketch challenge using Splitcoaststampers sketch for this week. I used the Poinsettia Petals bundle to create my card and the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper. This paper pack is on Special this month at 15% off.
Here is the sketch from Splitcoaststampers SC822:
The Poinsettia was die cut out of Very Vanilla card stock and then I sponged the edges with the Early Espresso ink. Not sure if I like it or not; it kind of gives it a vintage look and feel I think.
I added a little strip of the Designer Series Paper to the inside as well. The little ribbon strip up the front is from the Real Red Sheer Ribbon. Notice the Beaded Pearls in the center of the Poinsettia are red? That is because I colored them with the Real Red Blend.
Season’s greetings is from the Poinsettia Petals Bundle and stamped in Early Espresso and then punched out with the Classic Label Punch.

Good Morning Love your poinsettia card! I was wondering how you put the berries between the two strips of paper. Is it stamped or cutout or??? Thank you for your ideas. We use them in our card ministry.
Thanks Jeanne, The berry paper is part of the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper. The little Soft Suede and Very Vanilla branches I just tucked behind the Poinsettia with glue dots.
Beautiful card, Glenda! Yes it does look a bit vintage, but that’s what makes it beautiful!
Hugs
