It’s Technique Tuesday and today I have another oldie but goodie technique for you. Today I have the Inked Embossing Folders Stamping Techniques Tutorials to show to you. For today’s card I used the Dandelions 3D Embossing Folder.
This type of technique has been around for a while but what I’m finding is that new stampers are not familiar with the oldie but goodie techniques so, I’ve decided to bring them back to life for those new stampers. The older stampers like myself tend to forget that there are new stampers joining the stamping train everyday and it’s always nice to bring back a blast from the past and make it new again.
Here’s The Video:
There are many different Stamping Techniques Tutorials using Embossing Folders. The Dandelions 3D Embossing folder is the perfect embossing folder for this particular technique. This technique is a favorite of mine and a nice way to add color to your embossed image. You will get a different look each time you do this technique depending on the amount of ink you add to the embossing folder and how the ink was applied.
I’m thinking this stamping technique would be great in all the different In Colors? What do you think? Wouldn’t you like to receive a box of handmade cards using this technique in all the different colors? I think it would be beautiful.
How do you feel about different Stamping Techniques Tutorials? Is that something you like to see? Do you prefer to watch them live or is a video of the techniques just as good? I would love to hear your feedback on this.
Have you heard of a particular stamping technique that you would like to learn how to do? I’m always looking for ideas to share and what are the ways you would like to see them shared?
Would you like a series on the different techniques that can be done with embossing folders?
