Corduroy Button or Not?

Saturday, February 7, 2009

Today’s post is another sample of what my New Hybrid club did this week.? I featured different techniques for the DSP (Designer Series Paper) and this one used the New Textured Parisian Breeze Specialty papers?(#113993 $11.95).? I love this new textured paper and it can be used to make some Masculine cards quick and easy.? This card features another Color Blocking technique using the DSP and not much stamping is involved.

The card stock that coordinates with this paper is: Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip and Kraft.? The base of the card is Kraft.? We also used the Designer Label punch (#107590 $15.95) and the Sincere Salutations Stamp Set (#115068 $23.95).? These were the featured items for this month’s Hybrid Club.

Seeings how I was thinking masculine I kept the card simple without lots of embellishments and this is how the club made the card.? Well, when I went to my stamp room to get the card to take a picture for the blog I noticed my Corduroy buttons on the table and thought hmmm those Chocolate Chip Corduroy buttons(#114339 $9.95)?would be cute on the card, so I gave it a try.

What do you think?? Too Cute?? I’m really liking the little Corduroy buttons and must confess I bought them in every color.

TIP:? If you purchase the Parisian Breeze Specialty Paper $11.95, Kraft card stock $7.50, Designer Label punch $15.95, Corduroy Buttons $9.95, and the Sincere Salutations Stamp Set $23.95 your total will be $69.30 (before shipping and tax) and you will be eligible for a FREE Sale-A-Bration Product from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure.? With your purchase you will be able to make approximately 72 cards!? There are enough corduroy buttons to make 24 cards, so some cards would be minus the buttons and the buttons vary in size and style.??Each DSP pattern will make approximately 12 identical cards?and with the Sincere Salutations stamp set you can easily make a card for every occasion.

Also, Remember the Online Ordering will not remind you of your FREE Sale-A-Bration set, so make sure once you have entered all your products to purchase you also type in the number to the FREE Sale-A-Bration product you want before entering your payment.
