Simple Saturday featuring the Stampin’ Up! Free As A Bird stamp set. Love the soft color of the Petal Pink with these little birds. This is my featured stamp set for the May Stamp Camp At Home Card club. This particular card didn’t make the cut for the 3 projects although it is beautiful I decided against using it in the card club kit.
You will find all the details on my Stamp Camp At Home Card Club below in this post. You still have time to make a purchase and receive the card kit, PDF file and step by step video. The Stamp Camp At Home Card Club goes until the end of May.
The Petal Pink card stock was embossed using the Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder. Like I said a simple card but simply beautiful as well.
I used the Thank You sentiment from the stamp set but you can easily change that to a different sentiment.
The Stampin’ Up! Free As A Bird stamp set originally was paired with the retired Stitched Nested Labels dies. For this month’s club kit I used the Stitched Rectangles dies for all 3 cards and I think the rectangles paired well with this stamp set too.
The bird images were colored in with different colors of the Stampin’ Blends. You could easily change up the colors on this card as well; but I do like the Petal Pink. It would probably look really pretty in Pool Party or Coastal Cabana too. I guess it just depends on what color you would like your little birdies to be.
