Handmade cards inspired by tulip fields in Holland. That’s what I think of when I look at the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper and the Flowering Tulips bundle combined. I’m sure ready for Spring are you?
I’m loving all the bright pretty colors in this paper pack; it is hard to decide which color to pull out of the print. Today I decided to go with the Highland Heather card stock and the Highland Heather Marbleous 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for the Tulip. This paper pack is perfect for these tulips because it gives them some depth with the marbling of colors.
I used the Scalloped Contour Dies to die cut out the Basic White card stock and then matted it onto a piece of Highland Heather; pulling out the purple from the tulip as well as the designer series paper.
I added a couple of Iridescent Rhinestones to finish it off.
When I look at this card I think the sentiment is perfect as I think of Spring Time and Tulip Fields and it just gets me thinking. I think it is the perfect card to send to someone to brighten their day and let them know you are thinking of them.
