Yesterday was my Mom’s birthday but it wasn’t a good day for her. She has been very sick the last few days vomiting and diarrhea. At first they thought she had the flu but after talking with the nurses we found out they gave my Mom morphine for the pain and she is allergic to morphine. Morphine makes her vomit and she gets really sick. The pain she was experiencing was from diverticulitis. They have moved her out of ICU and she is in a regular room now. She will be on antibiotics for the MRSA for 28 days. The same medicine that she’s on for the MRSA will also help the diverticulitis so that’s good.

You are in our thoughts and prayers, hope your dad is better. My mom lived with my husband and I for a lot of years and we enjoyed her so much. Just stay strong in the Lord and be there for your parents, God Bless.
