Have you tried the Stampin’ Up! Card Kits of the Month Kits yet? I’m not sure if these are monthly kits or not but they could be. Similar to the Paper Pumpkin kits only you decide which kits you would like to purchase each time. This can be a one time purchase or you can purchase them as often as you like. There are a variety of kits to choose from as well as occasions.
These kits make great gifts too! I’ve ordered 2 of the kits for Sophia’s birthday; the Robot Buddies and the Stinkin’ Cute Best Remedy kits. What is nice about kits is it has everything you need to create the cards shown; right down to the clear block, inks, use the mini glue dots as adhesive, to jewels and envelopes. I would suggest maybe a scissors but generally even that is not necessary.
Today’s particular kit was the Thanks a Million Kit. I believe this kit came out in May. I thought the cards looked beautiful and I was right; in person they are so much prettier than the pictures show.

Let’s take a closer look at today’s kit cards:
Each card in this particular card kit has a nice clear embossed background on it. This one has dots on the background. You can’t tell in the picture but the flowers on the heart are all popped up; and yes the dimensionals are in the kit. You could easily swap out the thanks sentiment for another sentiment that you have on hand. If you purchase a few different card kits of the month you will end up with a nice selection of sentiment stamp sets.
On this background the squares are clear embossed. Yes, the black dots were also included in the kit and the sentiment tag was die cut and stamped for you as well. Just add any sentiment you like.
The background on this card was embossed with that leaf image. Again the fruits and flowers are die cuts that are included in the kit.
If you are new to stamping and just don’t know where to start I would recommend the kits; these will give you all the tools to get started and once you have created a few of these kits you will have a nice selection of inks, stamp sets, and clear blocks to start ordering different stamp sets and other supplies from any of the catalogs. The kits all come with step by step instructions and pictures.
