Today I have a quick and easy gift for you. This is made using the Big Shot and the Clear Circle die #114533 $19.95. You also need Cork Sheets #119819 $9.95, Big Shot Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets #120805 $14.95, Window Sheets #114323 $4.95 and any designer series paper that you like.
Now what are you going to make?
Coasters!
I created 4 coasters and tied them all together with the pretty in pink striped grosgrain ribbon; made a quick and easy tag and there you have it.
Okay here are a few tips for you on creating your coasters. I cut my designer series paper, 2 pieces of the double-sided adhesive sheets, cork, and window sheet all the same size first. I cut mine 5″ x 5″. Next I took the backing off one side of the adhesive and attached it to the backside of the window sheet, then I peeled the other side of the adhesive off again and stuck this to the top of my designer series paper. I took another piece of adhesive and took the backing off one side and stuck it to the back of the designer series paper and then peeled off the other side of the adhesive and attached it to the cork. After all these pieces were stuck together I then ran it thru the Big Shot. Do this process 4 different times and you have 4 coasters to give away. I’ll make a video soon so you can visualize this better.
This wasn’t my idea I got it from the Stampin’ Success magazine. This is just one of the many perks to becoming a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator; we get a monthly magazine filled with ideas, tips and techniques.
Have a GREAT day!
