More Sweet Cards!

Saturday, December 1, 2012

Today my daughter and I are off to Chicago with the Ladies Ministry from church. It is our annual bus trip to Chicago to go shopping. We don’t purchase a whole lot but do have a nice time together and this year she has a list of gluten free resturants, bakery’s and stores she wants to hit. She loves Trader Joes and Whole Foods. I know it seems kind of funny go all the way to Chicago and purchase baking supplies, and different foods but when you can’t get certain items except online or actually going to a City like Chicago; it is a rare treat.

On the bus ride (3 hours) to Chicago we always play games along the way to pass the time. Everyone who has a home based business or would like to is asked to donate a prize. I usually donate a box of hand stamped cards or a little gift package I’ve made. Here is my prize donation this year:

It is a box of tags, 3 x 3 cards, Handmade Holiday Stitched Felt Ornaments #127832 $4.95 and some Sweater Trim ribbon #129938 $8.95 Cherry Cobber, #127838 $8.95 Gumball Green, #129937 $8.95 Whisper White for wrapping your Christmas presents. I found this idea on Dawn Olchefske’s blog.

Also, I wanted to show you a couple of very sweet cards I got this week:

This card came from Sandy who is in my downline. She is getting an early start on her Christmas cards. I really like how she used the Merry Minis Punch Pack #126882 $16.95 on this card. Very Clever and pretty!

This very clever Thank You card came from my newest recruit Jen. She also attended the Lansing regional with me and my girls and she signed on at the Regional. She is very talented! I love how it is a different fold and a pocket card all in one. Sweet! When she showed it to her husband he said you will never find an envelope for that!

Silly guy! Never underestimate the cleverness of a stamper! LOL Jen took the coordinating DSP and the Simply Scored Scoring tool and whipped out an envelope to match. Like I said clever girl!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by,
Glenda
