Looking for easy fun fold cards to make with Designer Series Paper? This fun fold birthday card didn’t make the cut to be in with this month’s card club kit cards, but it is still a very pretty card. You may be asking, why didn’t it make the cut? I already had a card in the kit that used the Summer Splash ribbon, ink, and cardstock, so I went with a different card, which used one of the other In Colors in the paper pack.
The paper I used on this card is from the Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper which is my featured paper pack in this month’s Stamp Camp at Home Card Club Kit. This fun fold is perfect for all types of designer series paper. If you have a particular piece that you like the front and the backside and they coordinate they will be perfect for this card, but if you have two different prints that work well together you could use those for this fold as well.
This view of the card gives you a little glimpse of the inside. The sentiment piece on the front was a die cut from the Unbounded Love bundle which is one of the bundles in this suite of products.

Summer Splash Cardstock: 5 1/2″ X 8″ scored at 1 1/2″, 2 3/4″, 5 1/4″, and 6 1/2″
Summer Splash Card Base: 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″
Summer Splash Cardstock: 3 1/2″ X 5 1/2″ front center piece
Basic White: 2 1/4″ X 5 1/4″
Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper: (2) 3/4″ X 5 1/4″ (these are on the outside edges of the card base)
Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper: (2) 1″ X 5 1/4″ Inside Panels on scored piece
Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper: (1) 1 1/4″ X 5 1/4″ front panel right side only
Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper: 3 1/4″ X 5 1/4″
You will want to assemble your card in this order:
- Adhere the two 3/4″ X 5 1/4″ strips of the Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper to the Summer Splash card base.
- Cut and Score the Summer Splash cardstock 5 1/2″ X 8″
- Adhere the center section to the center of your card base.
- Attach the Basic White cardstock to the inside center.
- Adhere the Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper 1″ X 5 1/4″ to the inside panels
- Adhere the Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper 1 1/4″ X 5 1/4″ to the front right-hand panel
- Attach the Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper to the Summer Splash cardstock and adhere to the front left-hand panel
- Decorate as desired
