Would you like to create a simple fun fold birthday card using the Country Birdhouse bundle; well, I have the perfect fun fold card for you. This card was supposed to be a part of tomorrow night’s One Sheet Wonder class, but I used up my Country Woods Designer Series Paper after card #5, so I used another piece of paper and created the 6th card for you today. I already had the birdhouse die cut, stamped, and assembled so thought I might as well create the card and give you a little sneak peek as to what you will see in tomorrow night’s One Sheet Wonder class. This class was recorded, and the video will go up tomorrow night on my YouTube channel at 8:00PM EST.
In Tomorrow night’s class I’ll show you how to cut up the Country Woods Designer Series Paper to create 5 cards, at first, I thought I would create 6 cards; but I didn’t figure my cut pieces correctly so only ended up with 5 cards instead of 6. I will show you how to create two simple cards; one in the vertical direction and one in the horizontal direction and then the last 3 are fun fold cards, each card done differently.
For this card I created a horizontal easel fun fold birthday card and added the Happy Birthday banner on the inside, which was created using the Stylish Shapes dies and a little strip of the Petunia Pop cardstock. The Petunia Pop is part of the New In Colors and I really think all the new In Colors go perfectly with this paper pack; particularly the Grays.
The inside opens just like a regular card and has plenty of room to stamp or write your message. I also carried the Iridescent Pearls to the inside sentiment piece. On the front of the card, I added them to the flowers in the bouquet.
