Today I have a beautiful Gold card for you. I’m not exactly sure why I went gold; but I like the results.
I used the sketch challenge from Craft Project Central CPC31.
Here is my take on the sketch:
I think what sold me on doing the card in gold was the new Washi tape from the Occasions catalog. This is one of the rolls from the Watercolor Wonder Designer Washi Tape #133000 $4.95.
I used the Big Shot and the Hearts Framelits to cut out the Gold Foil #132622 $3.95 heart. I also punched the Gold Foil with the Bird Builder punch #117292 $16.95 to get the leaves for my gold flower.
The flower was made from the Simply Pressed Clay #130685 $6.95 and the Buttons & Blossoms Simply Pressed Clay Molds #131272 $7.95. I inked it with the Gold Encore ink and then embossed it with Gold embossing powder.
The Very Vanilla card was run through the Big Shot in the Beautifully Baroque embossing folder #130917 $7.95.
I thought this would make a pretty wedding card or anniversary.
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!

I don’t know why you chose gold, but it was a good choice.
