I wanted to try out my new Delicate Dahlias 2021 Sale-a-bration FREE stamp set from Stampin’ Up! Since I already had my Crumb Cake and Night of Navy ink pads out on my table I thought why not try these two colors together? Well I think they turned out pretty nice together so I decided to create a card with my sampling.
Yes, the one leave image is a bit off but still a pretty card. Who would have ever thought to put those two colors together for a flower? Not your average color combination for a flower but I think still pretty. That’s part of the fun with crafting and creating you can choose whichever color combinations you like.
After I stamped my flowers and the sentiment (also from the stamp set) I decided to give it some texture and used the Tasteful Textures 3D Embossing Folder on the entire piece.
The Delicate Dahlias 2021 stamp set is beautiful to work with or should I say stamp with. The solid image gives you depth and color variations with just one inking. The Solid image stamp is just so realistic you really don’t need to add the outline image but I wanted to bring in the Navy.
I’m really loving those Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots from the Mini Catalog. I think the Bronze goes perfectly with the Night of Navy and Crumb Cake color scheme.
