This is the Eclipse Technique using the Gleaming Ornament Punch which is part of my featured stamp set for this month “Christmas Gleaming Bundle”.
Join me on my Facebook page tonight at 8:00PM EST for my Tuesday’s Tips & Techniques segment. I’m going to show you how to create this Eclipse card with the Gleaming Ornaments Punch.
I combined both last month’s featured stamp set “Perfectly Plaid Bundle” with this month’s featured stamp set “Christmas Gleaming Bundle”. I love to combine sets together for different looks and to show you that you can mix it up a bit.
On this side view you can probably see the Eclipse better than straight on. The ornament is actually raised up a bit giving it the Eclipse look. You can move it a bit off center to give it more of an Eclipse look; the choice is yours.
I combined last month’s Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper with this month’s Gleaming Ornaments Punch. Who said you can’t have Plaid Ornaments?
I also used my Hammered Metal Embossing Folder on this card as well.
You may be asking, “Where did you get the Gold Ribbon and those Gold drops”? These are part of the Christmastime Is Here bundle.
