This is the first card in this trio of Faux Wood Burning Techniques.  On this card I did the technique on the Good Morning Magnolia image and then die cut it out using the coordinating die.

Attach the burlap bow and die cut out the sentiment with the layering circles and attach to the card front.

Yes, I did use the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder on all 3 cards.

Card Number 2 in the Trio of Wood Burning Technique Cards.  First I stamped the Magnolia image onto Watercolor card stock, did the wood burning technique and then ran it through my die cutting machine inside the Pinewood Planks embossing folder.

The Pearls in each corner were colored with the Soft Suede Dark Blends to give the look of nails.

I think the Magnolia image on this card really looks burnt into the wood.

Here is the Wow Wood Burning Technique card number 3.  On this card I did a Faux Wood Burning Technique on the Pinewood Planks embossed piece.

To keep this card light; I decided to color in the Magnolia stamped image with my Old Olive, Daffodil Delight and Petal Pink Blends. Then I die cut it out with the coordinating die.  I added a couple of pearls and the ribbon tied in a bow and it is complete.

I really love this technique and I’m sure you can’t wait to join me tonight and see how they were all done!  There are many options and ways of doing this technique so come join me tonight at 7:30PM EST on my FaceBook or YouTube Channel.

Glenda, thank you so much for your video tutorials. I love them all but this is my favorite (at the moment). I have learned so much from you. Please forgive me for not placing an order. I am a “demonstrator” in name only. I joined for the discount because I love all things Stampin Up. Thanks again, Mary
