The Festive Post stamp set is on the Retiring list and will be gone for good come January 4th!  You don’t have too many more days to get this awesome stamp set with the coordinating Rectangular Post Stamp Punch found in the Annual Catalog.

I want you to give the Festive Post stamp set another look; because if you are like me you looked at it and thought Halloween or Christmas but, you may not have caught the two images on today’s card are from that stamp set.

I also want you to look at the Designer Series Paper that I used on today’s card.  Does it look familiar to you?  It is from the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper Pack.  Sometimes we get stuck in our heads that these Paper Packs can only be used with the suite they were shown with in the catalogs; WRONGO!  (Sorry, got the Grinch stuck in my head; hahaha)

If you noticed my Stamp Camp At Home Class uses this same paper pack with the Heartfelt Bundle.  No it wasn’t shown with this stamp set but the prints work well with the Heartfelt Bundle.    See my Stamp Camp At Home Class Kit below in this blog post.  It is available until the end of December.

So, when I was creating this card I was thinking Wedding; but you could use it for an Anniversary card as well and Yes, Valentine’s Day too.  The print from the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper that I used on this card is more masculine on one side and more feminine on the other side; but on this card I used both sides of the same paper.

To divide my two pieces of Designer Paper I used the Gray Granite ribbon; which goes perfectly with this paper pack.

What other stamp sets have you used with the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper that wasn’t shown in the catalogs?

Hi Glenda. I love all your cards. I have this Festive Post stamp set and the punch but haven’t used them yet. I guess it’s time to pull it out and get busy. My question is how did you cut out the “Love”? There isn’t a die but all the pictures I see of it all look like they are die cut out. I’m sure my fussy cutting won’t look that good.
