Today’s card is one of those cards you envision and then when you actually make it; it turns out differently than what you thought it would.
I really like Black and White or Black and Silver together so that was a given for my colors.
I also wanted to make a Thanks or Thank you card to send to all those who placed online orders with me for the month of October. I’m trying to get a little ahead as it is my husband’s birthday next week and we are headed out of town this weekend for a little getaway.
I really wish you could see this card in person as it is very sparkly and pretty.
The little speckles on the card are from the Silver Glimmer paper; which in person I kind of like.
I love the Four Feathers stamp set and coordinating framelits so I knew I wanted to use my feather framelits.
The tricky part was lining up the letters for the Thanks; the magnetic platform didn’t work so well for this as the letter kept wanting to jump at weird angles next to each other. I ended up just using the platform that comes with the big shot, the t did move a little but still useable.
A very striking card but I don’t think I’ll be making a bunch of these.
