September is the last month in this round of In Color Club and these are the last group of cards being sent out to my club members. For the last 5 months I’ve used the Layers of Beauty bundle to create my In Color Cards for my club members. These fun fold cards are sort of a cross between a spanner panel card and a tent type card. During these last 5 months I’ve shown my club members how to take this bundle from simple cards, monochromatic cards and then cards with all the bells and whistles. I would consider this last group of cards the ones with all the bells and whistles, as they feature the Glimmer paper, Ribbon, and the Shimmer Gems, all the glitz and bling.
Let’s take a Closer Look at the Peach Pie Fun Fold Birthday Card:
Why is this considered a bridge cards? The way this fun fold card is folded gives you an open space in the front and I created the bridge with the floral image, the tops of the leaves and flowers on the side bridge the two sides together. The Happy Birthday sentiment piece also bridges the front. Behind the bridge I have the Glimmer Paper that coordinates with the paper and ink colors.
Here is a side view that shows how it is also considered a tent card. It opens like a regular card which helps to make the card fully stand up on its own. In the photo below you can also see that I stamped the flower image using the coordinating ink color on the inside of the card as well as on the envelope.
This has been a fun 5 months creating these fun fold cards for my club members. I hope that they enjoyed receiving their 5 beautiful cards each month for a total of 25 handmade Layers of Beauty cards from me. If you would like to join my next In Color club next year let me know and I’ll put you on my list. The Club begins in May and ends in September, so until next year thanks for checking out my In Color Club cards and for those who are in my current club Thanks so Much and I hope to see you back next year!

You are a treasure chest of ideas. No one comes up with as many videos of beautiful cards. Amazing.
When do you dust?
Love your funfolds and one sheet wonders!
Thanks Hope, Dust is that a new stamping technique? I haven’t heard of that one? Hmmm sounds interesting, but I just don’t have the time to try that technique, I’ve got more fun folds and one sheet wonders to do first! 🙂
