If you missed last nights Technique on my Facebook page I’ve posted the video below. I demonstrated how to do the Faux Mother of Pearl technique; which I think works great with the Golden Afternoon stamp set.
This was one of the first stamp sets that I purchased when I became a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. I thought this set would make some awesome masculine cards and I don’t think I’m wrong. I’ve been creating some really cool cards with this stamp set and the Wood Textures 6 x 6 Designer Series Papers. Stay tuned!
The Faux Mother of Pearl technique is an old technique and one I tend to forget about. This technique requires the Frost White Shimmer Paint.
I think the Tailored Tag punch is perfect with the Wood Textures papers as well.

In the video I showed how I embossed the Wood Grain Paper using the Wood Grain embossing folder. I really like this added texture.
