Today is my parent’s 57th wedding anniversary; and here is the card that I made special just for them.

I had some of my new toys laying out on my table and wanted to give them a try.  I found the sketch on Stampin’ Royalty and decided I would give their sketch a whirl.  I wanted to try out my new embossing folder Houndstooth #123134 $7.95, my new stamp sets from convention Borderlines #122640 $22.95 wood or #122642 $16.95 clear and Easy Events #116958 $32.95 wood or #123225 $24.95 clear.  When I assembled the Easy Events stamp set I didn’t want the words on the block with the image so I cut the words off and mounted them on the side of my block.  This way if I just want the image (which was the case for this card) I could easily ink up my stamp without worrying about inking the words.  Doing this gives you double the stamp possiblities.

I really think the card turned out pretty and I’m sure my parent’s will appreciate it.
