This pretty and bright Mother’s Day card uses the Petal Potpourri stamp set and the coordinating Flower Medallion punch.
Can you guess which paper pack the DSP is from?
It is actually from the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper pack; it is the backside of the beautiful Pacific Point flower print. I really wasn’t sure about this print but when I got it all together with the flowers and the sentiment I thought it turned out quite pretty.
I used the “Happy Mother’s Day” stamp from the Crazy about You stamp set but you can change the sentiment and make it a Birthday card, Get Well, Thinking of You really any occasion.
The Colors are Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi, and Daffodil Delight.
The Daffodil Delight flower image was punched out using the 7/8″ Scallop Circle punch.
The leaves for the flowers are actually made from the Flower Medallion punch.
The little butterflies are made using the Retiring Beautiful Wings Embosslits.
I have a video for you on a couple of tips for this card.
Now that you have the tips time to try them out on your own card. You can recreate this one and make it a Birthday card instead of a Mother’s Day Card or even a Get Well or Thinking of You card.
It is a bright and cheery card for any occasion.

Beautiful card, Glenda! While it is hard to cover up the blue painted petals, your card design makes it worthwhile! Happy Mother!s Day to you, too!
Love this card and colors. The tips about cutting the petals and using the punch to make leaves were great. Sorry to see this set retire along with the butterflies.
