Yes, that’s right, if you know me than you know I am a Dollar store junkie.? I went to the Dollar store looking to find some glass jars, (which I did and that’s in another post) but I also came across this cute little glass candle holder and red candle, hmmm now what can I do with that?? I also came across some really cute Christmas decorations which were 2 for a $1.00 can’t go wrong with that!? Here is my creation with my purchases, no biggie it wasn’t exactly what I had envisioned but I think cute none the less; plus quick and easy and not that expensive.
All I did was put 2 of the decorative greenery around the base of candle on top of the candle holder.? To decorate the candle I took Chocolate Chip card stock ran it around the candle and stuck the ends shut with sticky strip.? Then I took a piece of scrap Designer series paper, stamped the Merry Christmas greeting onto Very Vanilla card stock; punched it out with the Designer label punch; adhered that to the center of the Designer paper, ran my Chocolate Taffeta ribbon around the paper; attached a Vanilla hodgepodge hardware piece and attached the whole thing to the center of the Chocolate chip cardstock that was around my candle using sticky strip again.

Love it! I like to hit the Dollar Stores too! I’ll have to take a peek to see if I can find those items there. Great project!
