If you are looking for One Sheet Wonder Card Ideas, I got you covered. Looking for super easier Pop-up Easter cards, plus a couple of bonus birthday cards, you’ve come to the right place!
Last night was Thursday night’s One Sheet Wonder night and when I was sitting down to figure out my cards, I thought about a couple of comments I received from last week Thursday night’s Easter Cross Pop-up card. I had a request to make the pop-up cross card larger to fit into a 5 X 7 envelope and if I could show my card(s) BEFORE I started to create them. So, I went to work figuring out how to create the 5 X 7 card and saw an easier version on another YouTube Channel, so thought I’d try my hand at figuring out that fun fold on a larger scale. Wanting to make this part of my One Sheet Wonder using the Floral Delight Designer Series Paper, which by the way is my Stamp Camp at Home Card Club Kit paper this month. If you missed that post or want to know more about my card club, see this post HERE.
After figuring out all my measurements and the amount of designer series paper that I would need, it left me with Two perfect 2″ X 5 1/2″ pieces to be able to create two beautiful birthday cards. I love it when my One Sheet Wonder Card Ideas come this easily, the measurements all came out perfectly, with minimal waste.
As far as showing my finished card BEFORE I do anything else, if you know me or have watched my videos, there are many times that I do not have a finished card before I go live or do the video. I generally have a prototype, but nothing using the paper I’m demonstrating. When I’m creating a fun fold card or one sheet wonder card ideas, I will use retired paper until I get the prototype down and then from there, I use new paper in my lives or videos.
With this card being larger scale, it gives you a larger cross and more depth, at least I think so. You have more surface on the cross to add more details and a sentiment. I used the Stylish Shapes circle dies to die cut my mats and then the sentiment is from the Faith Collection. I hand cut the flowers for another sheet of the Floral Delight Designer Series Paper, popped them up and added the Antique Pearls. I also added a Daffodil Delight bow, using a mini glue dot.
For the backside I added the strips of Floral Delight Designer Series Paper and then a piece of Basic White so that you have plenty of room to stamp or write a message and sign your name. I also hand cut a flower from the paper and adhered it to the bottom, making the backside almost as pretty as the front.
After all the Designer Series Paper was cut up, I ended up with 2 strips that were 2″ X 5 1/2″ and another 1″ X 6 1/2″. The two 2″ strips were attached to a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock and added to the front of Pecan Pie card bases. The next step was to figure out what to do from there. There are many options for attaching these strips, you can go down the center as I did, adhere them to the top or bottom, make them vertical or horizontal.
I wanted to incorporate the coordinating Delightful Wishes bundle on these two birthday cards, so I used the Wishing dies with Daffodil Delight and Lemon Lolly cardstock and adhered them to a piece of Old Olive cardstock. I die cut the framelit from the bundle and stamped the “You a Happy Birthday” using Pecan Pie ink and popped that up on the card front. I added a couple of Bee trinkets and the Daffodil Delight bow to finish it off.
For the second card I created my wishing die cut using Pecan Pie and Daffodil Delight cardstock. I also used the adhesive sheets on the backside before die cutting, this makes these intricate words much easier to assemble.
Also, the easiest way to attach the Bee Trinkets is to use the liquid glue and the Take Your Pick Tool. NOTE: The Bee Trinkets are not available to order right now but are expected back into the warehouse the week of April 7, I do have enough for club members, plus a few extra.

Glenda I made 4 of the cross pop up card and found that after the first I could follow score lines to make cutting easier.
But couldnt I make the One Sheet Wonder Cross card the saame way? Then I could get 2 cards out of a sheet of cardstock which makes this card affordable for mass production.
Hi Hope, I don’t see why not. I made the larger cross card because I had a request asking if I would make it for a 5 x 7 envelope.
Happy Stamping!
