Let’s take a closer look at each of the 3 different cards in this months Card kit:
I chose this card first, because I am drawn to pink, it is one of my favorite colors. I love this layered look, and it was super easy to put together. The flowers and die cut framelit were all in one piece so all I had to do was add a bit of dimensionals on the backside. The card base already had the splattered softer image on the card base, so I just had to adhere the focal point and the sentiment followed by the sequins. How easy can you get and just beautiful.
The envelopes are just as beautiful as the cards themselves. Each envelope has the flowers printed in the left-hand corner showcasing just how beautiful the card inside will be. There are many ways that you can use these envelopes on your card fronts and give you even more beautiful cards with this kit. All you would need to expand your kit and make more cards is by adding in some coordinating cardstock for the card bases and any additional layering cardstock that you would like to add,
This was my second favorite card in the kit. You might just say I am drawn more to the bright and bold colors, and I think you are correct. Each card in the kit has the raised framelit piece and each card has a different sentiment, and sequins added. I truly cannot express how pretty these cards are in person. I know I have said it before, but I’ll say it again, these card kits are getting better and better.
These kits make traveling and crafting super simple to do and they do not take up much space in your suitcase or car. Maybe you are going to visit family, and you know they love to craft; these would be the perfect activity to bring along and do together.
With those gorgeous envelopes you can have at least another 9 cards from this one kit, the choice is yours and the possibilities are endless. My Paper Pumpkin subscribers will receive a PDF file from me at the end of the month with at least 8 -10 samples using the stamp set that comes in the kit. I tell them to use the kit as it was intended and then use the stamp set to create the cards in the PDF file. This shows them different ways to use the stamp set. There are many samples out there that will show how to alternate the kit to create different cards than the kit shows and those can be fun as well. I like to stick to the kit instructions and show what can be done with the stamp set for future crafting .
This was the final card in the kit and pretty as well. If you love daisies or know someone who does this card will be their favorite I’m sure. Each card has that faint print of the flowers in the background with a little splattering of ink and then the pop-up of the center piece is just stunning. I really think those sequins are to the sparkle of the cards.
