I’m not sure what to call today’s fun fold cards. They can be quick and easy and slipped inside a gift bag or step it up and make it a card/gift card holder all in one.
First up is this St. Patrick’s Day card which can easily be used in a gift bag or just a little something to give to your friend. Super quick and easy to create with just a 1/2 sheet of cardstock and some of that gorgeous Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper; which is FREE during Sale-a-bration. I can’t believe it hasn’t sold out yet!

As you can see this card has just a card base and the mini fun fold card on the front is where you put your inside sentiment. So really this is a mini card with a full size card base; so it does fit inside a regular envelope. Just a little something cute you can whip together in no time.
Here are the measurements:
Card base is 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″
Dandy Designs Paper: 4″ X 5 1/4″
Mini Card Thick Basic White: 4 1/4″ X 5 1/4″ scored at 3 1/4″
Dandy Designs Paper: 1 3/4″ X 4″, 3″ X 4″
Now let’s make the same card for a Fun Fold Birthday Card:
I call this little cat in the cupcake liner “Fat Kitty” because when Sophia was little we bought her a stuffed kitty that looked just like this and she called him “Fat Kitty”; she still sleeps with him to this day.
This little card would be perfect for a Birthday party to slip inside the gift bag. It has just enough space on the inside of the mini card to write a little something or stamp a birthday greeting.
The measurements for this card are exactly the same as the St. Patrick’s Day card above.
Now Let’s Step It Up a bit for a Double Front Fun Fold Card with a Gift Card holder inside:
Here we have Fat Kitty again and this time I made a double front fun fold birthday card with a spot for a gift card on the inside. So I basically just took the simple layout from the first two cards and instead of a card base I made it into a full size card with a pocket for a gift card or cash on the inisde.
The stamp set that I used for this card with all the sentiments; each layer has a different sentiment and they all came from the Best Day stamp set that has Fat Kitty in it. A super cute set for kids cards or a cat lover.
This double front fun fold birthday card is simple to create and fun to flip and read the different sentiments. To accent my card I used the Pastel Adhesive-backed Sequins which I think went perfectly with the Dandy Designs Designer Series paper.
