If you tuned in last night on my YouTube Channel, The Stamp Camp, then you probably already seen today’s cards being created in action. These 6 cards are created from just one 12 X 12 sheet of the Storybook Moments Specialty Designer Series Paper. This paper pack is part of my Stamp Camp at Home Card Club kit this month and I’ve had so much fun creating cards with all the super cute critters in this paper.
I noted this last night during the class, but the Storybook Moments Specialty Designer Series paper pack and the Timeless Plaid Designer Series paper pack are both currently unavailable to order and are expected back into the warehouse in March. The Storybook Friends bundle is also unavailable at this time.

Let’s Take a Closer Look at These Adorable Fun Fold Cards:
Each of the first 3 cards created in the video are exactly the same except for the critters and finishing touches. I like to show a variety of ways to accessorize your cards, so you can see just by changing an element here or there you will get a different look and feel to your cards. These first 3 cards are all fun fold cards with a peek-a-boo window on the front and a flip out inside piece.
You will need to start out by die cutting the front of your card with the oval die from the Linked Together Dies; this will give you your window on the front of your cards. You will then use the Storybook Friends die shown on a piece of coordinating cardstock to create the intricate die cut piece for the card front. The inside oval from this will actually go inside your card on the flip out portion of your card.
For the second card in the video, I accented it with the Petal Pink Scalloped Ribbon from the Storybook Suite Collection. This brought out the Petal Pink from the little Mouse in the cup and I think gave it a more feminine feel.
The Storybook Suite Collection has a lot of elements in the suite to accessorize your cards and give you a variety of paper prints to fit all your crafting needs. Did you know there is also a Storybook Life Scrapbooking Kit which coordinates with this product suite? I will show you the finished pages next week. I’m creating them for my soon to be newest grandchild. I can’t wait to fill the pages with photos of the newest addition to the Calkins clan.
This was the final fun fold card created and again I used the Petal Pink Scalloped Ribbon, this time behind the circle sentiment piece. I used the same little squirrel as the first card, but just by changing the sentiment and adding the ribbon; gives this card a whole different look.
When you open your card front you will see the flip out portion showcasing the little peek-a-boo critter. This also gives you a look at the card front where the Linked Together Oval die was used.
Here is the final opening, showing the very inside of your card, where you can stamp or write your greeting. This is where you can also see the backside of your Storybook Moments Specialty Designer Series paper.
After creating these 3 Peek-a-boo fun fold cards it was time to use up those 3 ovals we die cut from the card fronts.
I decided to attach all three ovals to a card front and add 3 little ducks from the Storybook Moments die cuts. The Basic Beige background piece was embossed with the FREE Sale-a-bration Starstruck Embossing Folder, which is free with a min. $60.00 order.
If you knew someone having triplets, this would make a great baby card; but since I do not know of anyone having triplets I made it an Easter card.
The final piece left from the 12 X 12 paper was a 2″ X 12″ strip, which I used to create 2 quick cards, by just cutting the strip at 2″ X 5 1/2″; this did leave me with a very tiny piece that I did toss out.
I also decided to use the other two intricate dies from the Storybook Friends bundle. This cute little fox is ready for Spring and so am I.
On the second card I used the square die from the Storybook Friends bundle and accented my card front with the Petal Pink Scalloped Ribbon and a piece of Petal Pink cardstock. Each layout was identical, just changing up the die cut pieces, adding ribbon, and a different coordinating cardstock color changed the look and feel to the cards.
There you have it; six one sheet wonder cards using just One 12 X 12 Sheet of Designer Paper. My card club members will find the one sheet wonder download in the photo gallery here on my blog; give me until Monday to get it finished and uploaded.
