New Stamp Set

Today’s sample is from the upcoming Occasions Mini catalog.? The stamp set is called Vintage Vogue and you can get it in Wood Mount or the New Clear Mount.? I purchased all the stamp sets from this Occasions Mini in the New clear Mount.? Why, to give it a good try.? I have never been a Clear Mount girl, I’ve tried other brands out there and they always fell off the block after time wrecking my card or scrapbook page.? Well I’m here to tell you so far I REALLY like them, I know I know.?

I’ve been working on my swaps for Leadership Convention in Phoenix AZ.? I have to make 46 of the same card, this isn’t the card I will be swapping but similar.? Anyways, I’ve been cutting out those flowers all by hand this weekend and stamped them repeatedly and they have never fell off the block.? So, so far so good.? I will keep you posted on the performance of these new Clear mounts, but so far I am impressed.

Here are some things to keep in mind with the clear mounts:

You will need to use the Stampin’ Scrub and Stampin’ Mist to clean these.? (This is what Stampin’ Up! recommends for continual ?quality of the product.)

You will need to purchase the Clear Mount Blocks.? (I’ve heard from other Demonstrators our stamps don’t stick as well to the other brands out there.? I’ve never owned the clear mount stamps before I’ve just tried others, so this is just based on what I’ve heard.)

You still need to attach the labels to the rubber but it is a very quick and easy process.? I will put out my first video on attaching the labels to the rubber.

The Clear Mounts are less expensive than the wood mounts.

The Storage is Sweet!? They come in a little CD case and have a picture and name of all the stamps in the set?on the side and cover of the CD.

Positioning of the stamp onto your card or scrapbook page is so easy with the clear mounts.
