For today’s post I used the color challenge from Splitcoast and the sketch challenge from Sweet Sunday Sketch blog found here.
The color combination was Red, Black and White. At first I thought Oh boy, that’s going to be a hard one, but then I thought about the new stamp set Plane & Simple (#121903 $21.95 wood mount or #121964 $16.95 clear mount) from the upcoming Occasions mini catalog. Great masculine stamp set and color combination! My next dilemma was a card layout and then I came across Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge and I had my idea!
Note: The black rickrack piece is from the Tasteful Trim #120893 $42.95 Bigz XL die from the Holiday Mini, if you want to recreate this card you will need this die and the Holiday Mini catalog ends on January 3, 2011. You still have time to purchase this as a last minute Christmas gift for you or someone else. It won’t arrive until after Christmas but I love presents anytime not just at Christmas. Keep the celebration going. 🙂
