Before we discuss today’s cards I need to apologize for my tardiness in last night’s video. I totally forgot all about it until 9:00PM, so if you missed it, you can catch the video in this post. It was one of those days when the time just got away from me; we had a tornado warning, the kids and grandkids were here, and I totally forgot.

Now let’s take a look at these Slimline Cards:
This was the card I showcased during last night’s video. This fun fold card uses the entire 6 x 6 sheet of designer series paper and fits inside a business size envelope or a shorter envelope. This trifold card will unfold the scene of your print and looks great open or closed with the belly band.
Here you can see how the card will unfold to reveal the scene. I didn’t show the second card in the video, but you can view it here to see how it works with a different print in the pack.
This was the first of the slimline cards that I created to see how this fun fold would work with these prints. I really like how this card turned out and I added one of the die cuts from the coordinating Thoughtful Wishes Bundle to add to the belly band to give it some interest.
Here is the belly band removed so you can see that intricate die cut that I added behind the sentiment piece. This piece was twofold as it added a bit of interest to the belly band as well as the card, but it also covered the seam on my belly band.
Here is the card fully opened so you can see you have plenty of room to write or stamp a sentiment and I was thinking on that long Basic Beige piece you can stamp a Happy Birthday or any other occasion using a straight stamp, like the Sweetly Scripted stamp set.
