Another Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper card. This time I paired it with the Detailed Bands Dies and just cut off the band part. This gives this die more ways to use it. We all like to have different options for our dies it just makes them that much more of a value; at least in my book. So by just taking my paper snips and snipping off the bands on the sides of the intricate die I just created another “die” from 1 die.
You can see the center of this die is die cut out. I just added it back in and used the dimensionals on the backside to hold it in place. This is so you can die cut a different color for the sentiment in the middle and have the fancy die cut image a different color as well. Or maybe you just want to stamp on the card front and have the fancy die cut piece over the stamped sentiment. You have lots of different options with this one die set.
The sentiment on this card is from the coordinating Band Together stamp set which is bundled with the Detailed Bands Dies. If at all possible I encourage you to purchase stamp sets and dies sold in a bundle when they are bundled; this saves you 10%. The stamp set and dies might be sold in future catalogs but possibly not bundled anymore; so when you see it bundled that’s the time to get it.
I love the richness of this particular paper in the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper pack. This print reminds me of a canvas painting. Love the colors and the rich Blackberry Bliss card stock.

When I was typing up this post I noticed the date and thought hmmm maybe I should have chosen a different card for today. You ask why? Well today is my 39th Wedding Anniversary; wonder if my husband remembers? hahaha We will see.
This has been a pretty busy week. My dad was admitted to the hospital last week Thursday with heart problems. He is having a new defibrillator put in today. In a few weeks they will take more test to see if further surgeries need to be done. The same day my dad went into the hospital Neil and Kim came home for a visit from North Carolina. Needless to say so far I haven’t been able to spend much time with them. So it isn’t surprising that I completely forgot what day it was when I was writing up this blog post. I’m trying to work ahead because I’m also leaving on vacation on Monday for the Greek Isle Cruise with a fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. What’s the saying when it rains it pours; especially this year in Michigan and I don’t just mean the weather.
Customer Appreciation:
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Stamping!
