Eight One Sheet Wonder Card Ideas You Will Love

one sheet wonder cards with designer series paper

If you tuned in to last night’s one sheet wonder class than you saw these beautiful Flowering Zinnia’s one sheet wonder cards, come to life.   If you are looking for One Sheet Wonder Card Ideas; you must make a point to join me every Thursday night at 8:00PM EST on my YouTube Channel “The Stamp Camp”.  If you missed last night’s class no worries, you will find the video down below in this blog post.

The Flowering Zinnia’s Designer Series Paper is part of my Stamp Camp at Home Card Club kit for May.  This beautiful paper is so fun to work with; you just can’t help but make gorgeous cards.  All my Stamp Camp at Home Card Club Members receive these bonus One Sheet Wonder download project sheets and video tutorials.  This is just one of the perks for being in my card club.  I don’t think you will find this bonus in any other stamp clubs out there.  This is just one of my club perks; you can read all about my Stamp Camp at Home Card Club HERE.

Let’s take a look at Each of These One Sheet Wonder Card Ideas:

The first fun fold cards I showed were super simple to make and I’m sure you’ve probably already made this type of fun fold card before.  These are the vertical Book Binding cards.  I love this fold because you can make the binding however wide you wish, so you have enough room for your pretty papers.   A couple other elements I brought into play on all the cards was the Zinnia 3D Embossing Folder, the Shiny Sequins (which I was able to order and get a pack for all my current club members) and the brand new Simply Said stamp set.  I also used the Nested Essentials die for all my die cuts.  That beautiful lemon lime ribbon is retired, but I have enough for all the current club members.

Next up are these Side Gatefold cards, which might look a little bit like the book binding but in reverse.  You can see how they open on the front towards the right-hand side.  The larger Nested Essentials dies help in holding the sides down a bit.  In the video I showed a tip for getting a smaller mat around your sentiment pieces, if you don’t want to cover up so much of those gorgeous flowers.

These were a bit different fun fold cards as you fold the right-hand side of your card back and attach the largest Nested Essentials dies to the folded back panel.  You can decorate the Nested Essentials dies with the stamp set as I did with the card on the left or use the dies from the bundle to create a Zinnia and attach that to the Nested Essentials dies like the one on the right.  Both cards are very bright and cheery, I guess it just all comes down to if you like to color your images or use die cuts.

I used the Melon Mambo, Lemon Lime Twist and Daffodil Delight Blends to color in my Zinnia’s.  The die cut Zinnia is made from Petal Pink and Daffodil Delight cardstock and the stem and leaves are Mossy Meadow.

The final two cards are a more intricate fun fold card, but super easy to create.  I’ve done this type of fun fold card before but instead of being vertical I did them horizontally.  With this gorgeous print it is easier to create these fun fold cards vertically, so you don’t have to cut off any of those pretty flowers.

You can see the Zinnia’s 3D Embossing Folders work on these two cards. This just adds a bit of texture and elegance to these cards, I think.

Also, if you didn’t notice each piece of the Flowering Zinnia’s designer series paper was cut the exact same size, so if you really like one of these fun fold options over all the other’s you can easily create all 8 cards using the exact same layout and fun fold.

If you haven’t grabbed this paper pack yet; I think you will want to include it and the bundle in your shopping cart. We are going to have a great month with these prints!
