RHSSC7 – Red Hot Stampers Sketch Challenge #7

Sunday, October 23, 2011

Well today is my middle son’s 15th Birthday. I can’t believe it; time sure does fly. He was my preemie he came 6 weeks early. He was a big baby for 6 weeks early 6 pounds 9 ounces but he wasn’t healthy due to me having gestational diabetes, thus the bigger baby too. He is now around 5′ 10″ and towers over Mom; he has a deep manly voice and is growing into quite a very nice young man. I’ll show you some birthday pictures tomorrow.

For today I have the Red Hot Stampers Sketch Challenge for you.

Here is the sketch:

Here is my take on the sketch:

I turned the sketch for my card. I used the Gently Falling stamp set from the Holiday mini as well as the Spice Cake DSP. This is just a fun, quick and easy Thanksgiving card. The longest part was cutting out all the leaves; wish there was a punch for this.

Now head on over to the Red Hot Stampers Blog and see the other beautiful cards done using this sketch.

Thanks for stopping by,
Glenda

I love this stamp set and you card is simple but gorgeous. I’m with you about cutting out stuff. But I’ve learned to stamp a bunch and save them to do when I’m sitting in front of the tv. Thanks for sharing.

    Glenda,
Love this card – I think you should call it “easy elegance”. Love your color choices and the layout. Thanks for another fab idea!
