What is SCCSC8?? Well as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator I have access to a special website called the Stampin’ Connection.?? This is a website for all Stampin’ Up! demonstrators to show their work by sharing cards, scrapbook pages, 3D projects, tricks, tips and techniques.? I love this new website and the samples are fabulous!? So you ask again, what is SCCSC8?? This stands for Stampin Connection Card Sketch Challenge and the number is the number of the sketch.? This is a fairly new website for us demonstrators so things are just starting to get rolling and the sketch challenges is one of those things.? I am a little slow on jumping on this bandwagon but better late than never.

Here is the Sketch:

Now here is my take on the sketch:

I really love the new Color Gradation technique and when I saw the sketch I thought of the spotlight technique.? I didn’t stamp the Upsy Daisy image twice I just stamped it once, punched out my circles matted them on coordinating colors and stuck them back in there spots.? I think it turned out pretty cute.

CS:? Rose Red, Crushed Curry, Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie
INKS: Rose Red Crushed Curry
SS: Upsy Daisy
Accessories:? 1 1/4″ Circle Punch, 1 3/8″ Circle Punch, 1″ Circle Punch, Crushed Curry Dotted ribbon

Have a Great Day!
Glenda

I will be teaching this technique in my Techie Class next week Monday & Tuesday. I’ll try to feature it as a Tuesday Technique soon. 🙂
