Today I have a super cute Shaker Card featuring the Scary Cute Bundle. When I saw the die of the framed tree image I knew I wanted to make it a shaker card. The frame works perfectly with the Foam Adhesive Strips. It is a bit hard to see in the photo but I used the blue sequins from the For Everything Fancy Sequins pack inside my shaker piece.
The Metallic & Shimmer Specialty Paper worked beautifully for my back drop. The silver and white polka dots reminded me of a scary starry night.
To create the “Moon” I just die cut a circle out of the Crushed Curry cardstock and placed it on the back drop before I aded my shaker piece. The Sentiment was stamped on a strip and I was going to hand cut out each little boo! and attach them randomly around the card but as I was going to cut the out I saw the frame die in the set and thought, hmmm maybe I could just cut them out using the frame die and add a piece up the center like a post creating a sign. Works for me. Sometimes things just happen.
Looking at the photos the sequins look like eyeballs in the shaker; hahahah not what I was going for but it works.
I couldn’t help myself I had to add the scaredy cat die cut at the top. I think my granddaughter’s are going to love this card; not only because it has the shaker sequins inside but because of the little fairy on the front. She makes the card not so scary.
