Simple & Quick Gift Card Holder

Monday, November 8, 2010

Today is the last sample using the Big On Christmas stamp set and the Deck the Halls designer series paper.  I wanted to make a simple and quick gift card holder and I think I have accomplished that task in this sample here:

I think I told you I love this designer series paper; it does all the work for you in creating beautiful cards or in this case a gift card holder.  I also used the #2 bundle Tags Til Christmas and the Decorative Label punch.  See the Bundle Promotion in the left hand side bar.

This is the inside of the gift card holder.  This is a really easy gift card holder to make.  Take a piece of card stock cut 4 1/4″ X 11″ and score at 4 1/4″  and 8 1/2″, fold on the score lines.  Take a circle punch and punch 1/2 a circle in the 2 1/2″ end and add sticky strip to the sides; remove the tape and secure closed to create your pocket for your gift card.  Decorate your pocket as desired; in this case I used the Big On Christmas stamp set.  I stamped directly onto the designer series paper using black craft ink and embossed with black embossing powder.  I then colored in the letters with markers.  The top flap on the inside is for writing or stamping a greeting.

I hope you have enjoyed my series of cards and the gift card holder using the Big On Christmas stamp set and the Deck the Halls designer series paper.

Have a Great Day!
Glenda
