Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Bunch

Wednesday, July 16, 2014

We arrived to France’s house yesterday afternoon. So what do we do first thing when we get together? Why go get our nails done of course. LOL

Today France, myself and some of her downline girls are on our way to Salt Lake City, UT to attend the Stampin’ Up! convention. We got up VERY EARLY and are on our way. Stay tuned for convention highlights.

Today’s card was done for the sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.

Here is the sketch:

Here is my take on the sketch:
Beautiful Bunch

I decided I wanted to try out my new Beautiful Bunch stamp set and punch.

I also wanted to make it a monochromatic card and Daffodil Delight was my color of choice. I’m using this nice yellow a lot lately.

I also used the Simply Pressed Clay again to create a pretty little center for my flower. I also painted the clay flower with the Crystal Effects to give it a nice shine.

The DSP is from the Bright Stack.

I made this a Get Well card because I thought it would cheer anyone up who wasn’t feeling great. The Get Well sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.

Here is the list:

Thanks again for stopping by and have a great day!

Brenda thanks for your great notes about Convention. Sounds like you had a blast. I really like monochromatic cards and your take on this sketch is just perfect. Daffodil Delight is such a perfect colour for a get well card!
