I did this card for the sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.
When I looked at the sketch it reminded me of a pocket card so that’s what I did.
I like the Melon Mambo and the new Tip Top Taupe together; I think the go perfectly together.
The Tip Top Taupe cardstock was cut 5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″ and at 1 1/4″ and folded on score lines.
I matted a piece of the Tip Top Taupe In Color DSP onto the front and attached the flap down; ran adhesive down the sides and you have a pocket.
I chose the new Birthday Blossoms stamp set. It had everything I needed to complete the sketch.
The sentiment “The Best Day Ever” was stamped using the Tip Top Taupe ink and cut out using the New Tags & Labels Framelits and matted onto a Melon Mambo Tags & Labels Framelit.
The “Happy Birthday” sentiment was stamped using the Tip Top Taupe ink and flagged using the new Triple Banner Punch.
The bigger flower image was stamped on Melon Mambo cardstock using Melon Mambo ink and I did hand cut it out. Yes, the Pansy Punch does coordinate with this stamp set but I didn’t have it with me when I made this card.
The ribbon is the 1/4″ Melon Mambo Cotton Ribbon.
Add a couple of Pearls and you have a completed pocket card.
