It’s Saturday Sketch Challenge and today I used the Cherish the Season stamp set and the sketch challenge was from the Try Stampin’ on Tuesday sketches TSOT482.
Don’t you love to use a sketch to create your cards? I do; it takes away part of the initial thought process so the card comes together pretty quickly.
Here is the sketch:
Right away when I saw this sketch I thought of the Cherish the Season stamp set. It might also be because I had just created the Fun Fold card yesterday and had the stamp set still out on my desk; so the circle on the sketch was screaming Bell!
The Designer Paper is from the Classic Christmas 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper pack which was also still out on my desk.
It’s almost like they created this sketch just for my card; hahahah. I know they didn’t but I think the stamp set, dies and papers fit the sketch perfectly. What do you think?
Do you see the Holly and Berries on the bell? I placed a Whisper White strip behind the Bell and then colored through the die cut opening onto the Whisper White strip using my Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce Blends.
The foliage is a die from the coordinating die set cut out of Shaded Spruce card stock.
To finish it off I tied a bow out of the Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon and attach to the bell.
