I have a few things to say about these kits. First, the cards in the kits are generally much prettier in person; like this Kaleidoscope kit for instance. The gold foiling in the paper with the intricate laser die cut image popped up over the top is stunning and would be hard to achieve if not for this kit. I also love that this particular stamp set has a few sentiments for a couple different occasions so you can create each card for a different occasion. I will say that the card bases are not as thick as our regular card stock but for the amount of cards you can create you can’t beat the price point of these card kits. These kits are great for new stampers to determine if they like to create cards or even the 3D project kits. They are great for beginners as you don’t need to purchase a bundle of products to give Stampin’ Up! products a try. With kits you don’t have to worry about storage solutions or where you will fit all your new supplies. Really the only left over things you will have after putting your kits together is the stamp set, ink spot, clear block, and possibly some adhesive dots, dimensionals and maybe a little bit of gems. After purchasing a few kits you’ll have a nice selection of stamps, inks, clear blocks, and adhesives to begin going a little rouge and venture out on your own with maybe a package of notecards and designer paper.
