Today’s card was made using the sketch challenge at Friday Mashup.
When I looked at this sketch for some reason the Fabulous Florets stamp set #128574 $23.95 or #123027 $17.95 stood out.
I also knew I wanted to use Crumb Cake ink on Very Vanilla and then black followed.
Here is my take on the sketch:
Another challenge to the Friday Mashup was it incorporate splatter or Spritzing on your card.
I decided to spritz my flowers with a little mixture of Alcohol and the Vanilla Smooch Spritz.
It is hard to see the shimmer and shine but it’s there.
I sponged the edges of the flowers and the square lattice textured very vanilla piece with some of the crumb cake ink.
I added a few pearls to the flowers and the Happiest Birthday banner to finish it off.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Love your card, Glenda! It’s so elegant, and right up my alley. 🙂 You probably think I’ve dropped off the end of the earth. I have to admit I kind of feel like I have! lol Thanks for joining us at the Friday Mashup.

Glenda, this is so pretty! I love your design and choice of stamps- I think I must order this, now! The contrast of the dark borders really adds so much to this beautiful card. Thanks for joining in the Friday Mashup this week;)
Glenda, I love your take on my sketch. You chose the perfect stampset to use! Spritzing with smooch spritz is something I would have never thought to do but I love the idea and it added the extra wow to your card!
