Today is the sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.
Here is the sketch for this week:
Let me just say this was not my favorite sketch. This one was a little hard for me to come up with something. In the end I think it turned out pretty good; I did leave off the 3 little circles.
Here is my take on the sketch:
I went with my stand by colors of Soft Suede and Very Vanilla. You know where I’m going with this. Yep, I got out my new Look Up To Father Stamp set #133218 $10.95 and turned it into a masculine Birthday card.
I used the new Word Bubbles Framelits Dies #132968 $24.95 and the Big Shot to cut out my sentiment. I sponged the edges to give it a more distressed masculine look.
The background is the Hardwood #133032 $17.95 or #133035 $13.95 stamped on Very Vanilla using Soft Suede ink. I also sponged the edges with the Soft Suede ink.
The little wood arrow type pieces are from the Essentials Wooden Elements #132258 $4.95 and they were sponged with the Soft Suede ink as well.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
