Thankful Garden Bundle And New In Color Cards Perfect Pairing

In Color cards with designer series paper

The new Annual Catalog is coming and with that new In Colors are on the way as well. Today I have two of the five new colors to share with you, featuring the Thankful Garden Bundle and the Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper.  The Lovely Garden paper is part of my Stamp Camp at Home Card Club and I wanted to show how you can incorporate this paper with the new  colors.  If you would like to learn more about my card club see this post HERE.

You also might be wondering if I’m going to have an In Color club again this year.  Well, I’m sad to say that I will not be holding a club this time around.  Why?  There are a couple of reasons and the main one being the New Cloud Cover has an issue with the ink pad.  The ink isn’t preforming to the quality standards that Stampin’ Up! puts into place, the second reason is the Strawberry Slush was a past color, so I’m sure my past customer’s already have this color, so that would only make 3 of the 5 colors available for club members.

There are Five New In Colors:

– Strawberry Slush (repeat)
– Timid Tiger
– Darling Duckling
– Cloud Cover (quality issue with ink)
– Secret Sea

First up is the Strawberry Slush color.  This is a very pretty pink and pairs perfectly with the Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper and the Thankful Garden bundle.  I decided to show a technique with the Thankful Garden stamp set and that was to emboss the flower image onto the Strawberry Slush cardstock using Versamark ink and the White embossing powder.  The black and white striped designer series paper is the Lovely Garden paper.

The ribbon is from the Petal Pink & White Trim Combo Pack and is on low inventory.  The white sequins are part of the Starburst Sequins pack which is also part of my Stamp Camp at Home Card Club Kit.

This is the new Secret Sea In Color, which is a pretty dark blue, darker than Night of Navy.   The dotted print from the Lovely Garden paper is black and white but because the Secret Sea is so dark and the dots are so tiny it blends together well.

When I look at the new colors I’m drawn to the Strawberry Slush, but then I’ve always been a pink girl.  The Clover Cover and the Secret Sea look really nice together and I hope they will be able to solve the ink issue and release the new color soon.

With this months club kit, club members will be getting the new annual catalog in with their kit.  If you have been a customer of mine in the last 6-months and you are not in my club, I have paid for Stampin’ Up! to mail you the new catalog.  The current catalog ends May 5, 2025 even though the catalog states April 2025 it will not end until May 5, 2025.  The new catalog goes live on May 6, 2025.
