Tuesday’s Tips and Techniques for today is the Leaf Embossing technique. I saw this technique on Splitcoaststampers and decided to give it a try. WOW, is all I can say the results are stunning!
This technique is done with REAL leaves! So, go grab some leaves off your trees before they are gone for the season and join me tonight at 7:30PM EST on my Facebook page or YouTube Channel “The Stamp Camp” and I’m going to show you how I did it.
I’m not sure what kind of tree it was that I took these leaves from; but it was right outside my front door as it was raining when I decided to give this technique a try. I chose all different sized leaves from the same tree. I also chose leaves that were still green and hadn’t changed colors yet. They aren’t so crispy so can withstand the pressing on the ink pad etc.
I simply love the Sentiment; I mean the font used and size of the sentiment. It’s just beautiful and is from the Banner Year Bundle. Which I used the Banners Pick a Punch on the sentiment strip as well.
The little Metallic pearls go perfectly with the gold embossing and brushed Gold paper.
