Two Special Occasion One Sheet Wonder Cards With Iconic Celebrations

one sheet wonder cards

Last night’s One Sheet Wonder cards featured the Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper to create two special celebration cards.  You can create these two cards from just one 6 x 6 sheet of the paper.  Create both cards with the same print or flip 1/2 the paper and create two different cards like I did.  One side of the print has the hearts, and the other side has the champagne glasses.

This particular print in the pack is perfect for many occasions.  It can be used for Valentine’s Day, Wedding, Anniversary, New Year’s Eve, or a loved one’s birthday.   What occasion would you use it for?  Which side of the paper would you choose for your card?

To create this card, I paired it with Cherry Cobbler ink and cardstock and added the White Twine from the Baker’s Essentials pack.  You also have a couple of options on placement of your focal point, for this card I centered it.  I also added the clear ribboned adhesive-backed dots.  On the inside I added an additional piece of the Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper to coordinate with the front.

Now I flipped the paper over to the other side and created a similar card using the champagne glasses print.  You will get two different One Sheet Wonder cards, just by flipping over the paper pieces.

So, for this card, adhered it towards the top giving a wider boarder at the bottom.  Which do you like better centered or like this card adhered towards the top.  I again used the White Twine, and this time tied a bow and attached it as shown.   On this card I paired it with the Moody Mauve ink and Paper, which gives a softer look then the Cherry Cobbler.

The inside was created the same as the first, adding a piece of identical Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper to the inside with plenty of room to write or stamp your message.

There you have it, two cards for a special occasion using just one 6 x 6 sheet of designer series paper.  You could use any paper in the pack using this one sheet wonder layout and create cards for Fall, Christmas, Birthday, Valentine’s Day, New Year’s Eve, Wedding, or even an Anniversary.  How many packs of paper do you know of that can make cards for all those occasions?
