Yellow chick
When I was making this card I was thinking of my son Neil who left for bootcamp in San Diego, CA last Sunday. I hope he is hanging in there.

I would love to be able to send him this card but as of yet we have no address for him and I do not think he would appreciate getting this card at bootcamp. They would probably make him do 50 sit ups or something.

We were instructed only white envelopes and white notebook paper period!

It’s hard when all your little birds leave the nest.

This little chick is so cute and I did a little paper piercing technique on him. I stamped the chick on the white cardstock and then again on a piece of the Perfectly Artistic Designer Series Paper which is FREE during Sale-a-bration. I also did this technique on the balloon with the same DSP.

The little Crushed Curry enamel dot added a nice little touch to the balloon.

I love the Yellow and Gray together.

I too have a son in the Army. I loved your thoughts of the push ups – and YES he will do them for ANY mail! I would love to swap stories and help bring support to each other down this military road!!
