Tuesday’s Tips and Techniques is the Faux Wood Burning technique using the Let It Ride stamp set. This set is on the retired list so you will need to order it before June 3rd.
NOTE: The Live has been rescheduled for Thursday night at 7:30PM EST.
Join me tonight at 7:30PM EST on my FaceBook Page or YouTube Channel “The Stamp Camp”; and I’ll show you how to do this technique. Doesn’t it look like the images were burned into the paper?
I do recommend the Stamparatus for this technique as you really want to get a good deep stamped image. Yes, you will also need Watercolor paper for this technique. This is a technique that will look different every time you do it; based on the amount of water you use.
You could easily add a sentiment to this card in the upper right hand corner if you like. I kept it plain so it could be used for any occasion.
You really need to see it in person to really see the Faux Wood Burning look. Also, the Early Espresso ink turns a variety of colors when you wet it with the Aqua Painter.
